Cara Dillon - Coming Home
Working on Cara Dillon’s album Coming Home was a journey in storytelling through sight as well as sound. We shaped the album’s visual world — from capturing evocative photography to designing the CD and LP artwork — weaving a look and feel that echoed the heart of the music. We also directed the music video for lead single ‘Clear the Path’, bringing the song’s themes to life in moving images that feel as intimate and timeless as the album itself.
The songs on Coming Home are steeped in themes of memory, belonging, and the quiet beauty of rural life. To mirror this, our visual approach leaned into natural, outdoor settings — fields, winding lanes, and soft horizons — bathed in hazy, golden light. This choice of setting and lighting wasn’t just aesthetic; it was designed to evoke the same sense of nostalgia and gentle reflection that runs through the music. Every photograph, every frame of the video, was created to feel like a treasured memory — familiar, comforting, and timeless, just like the stories Cara tells in her songs.
